If you own a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda manufactured before 2011, additional steps are required during installation to prevent the car radio from draining your battery. If you have a car manufactured from 2011 onwards, the installation is plug-and-play. Original accessories and options If your car has a reversing camera originally supplied by the dealer, please note that it cannot be connected plug-and-play. To connect the camera, you will need an adapter that connects the original camera to an RCA connector. If your car has a CD changer, you will no longer be able to use it after removing the original radio. It is therefore advisable to remove the CDs from the changer before removing the radio.
