This Cartronix car radio is specifically designed for Volkswagen models from 2003 to 2019. Please note the following:

• If your car is equipped with an original reversing camera, the CTX-3408 camera decoder required to keep the camera and make it visible on a new car radio.
• For cars manufactured from 2014 onwards, an additional cable is required when installing this car radio, namely the MIB connector (CTX-3401This connector is required to ensure compatibility with the car's original functions. The MIB connector ensures that the new car radio can communicate correctly with the modern systems of these vehicles, including steering wheel controls and other integrated features. So, when purchasing, check whether your car falls into this category and make sure you have the correct cable for a smooth installation.
• If you have a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda manufactured before 2011, additional steps are required for installation to prevent the car radio from draining your battery. In that case, we recommend contacting us. If you have a car manufactured after 2011, installation is plug-and-play.
• If your car has a CD changer, you won't be able to use it after removing the original radio. Therefore, it's advisable to remove the CDs from the changer before removing the radio.
