Quadlock adapter plug | New to old | MIB plug

This Quadlock adapter for Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, and Audi is suitable for connecting a car radio with an older Quadlock connection in the vehicles listed below. This connector is also known as the MIB connector.

More modern vehicles from Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen have a newer type of Quadlock connector than previously used. Many aftermarket radios are based on the older Quadlock connector, making it impossible to connect them to modern cars. This adapter offers a solution. With this cable, you can replace a MIB car radio with, for example, an RNS car radio.

The adapter is completely plug-and-play and also features Canbus wiring, ensuring the original functions remain functional. The difference between the older Quadlock and the newer Quadlock is that the newer Quadlock has two large pins for power.
