Reversing camera signal filter | CTX-3409

After installing a reversing camera on a Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen, Mercedes, or other car, prevent the reversing lights from providing a constant voltage or a voltage lower than 12 volts. This often occurs when the engine is running. This can cause the image to sometimes disappear, flicker, or become unclear. In that case, this voltage filter should be installed between the cables for the reversing lights and the reversing camera. This prevents the voltage from being too low and ensures stable video playback.

Connect

Connecting the CTX-3409 voltage filter is a simple task. The red wire should be connected to the + terminal of the reversing light and the black wire to the - terminal of the light. The blue wire is then connected to the + terminal of the reversing camera.
