Reversing camera signal filter | CTX-3409
Product Description
To prevent the reversing lights on a Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen, Mercedes, or other car from providing a non-constant voltage or a voltage lower than 12 volts after installing a reversing camera. This often occurs when the engine is running. As a result, the image may sometimes drop out, flicker, or become unclear. In that case, this voltage filter should be placed between the cables for the reversing lights and the reversing camera. This prevents the voltage from dropping too low and ensures the video display remains stable.
Connect
Connecting the CTX-3409 voltage filter is a simple task. The red wire should be connected to the + terminal of the reverse lights and the black wire to the - terminal of this. The blue wire is then connected to the + terminal of the reversing camera.
Solution for:
- Flashing camera display on car radio or diagram
- No image
- Picture cuts out when engine is running
- Wavy image rendering
