• If you have a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda manufactured before 2011, additional steps are required during installation to prevent the car radio from draining your battery. In that case, we recommend consulting an installation specialist or our installation partner, Cartop Automotive, who can carry out the installation professionally.
  If you have a car manufactured after 2011, the installation is plug-and-play.
• For cars manufactured from 2014 onwards, an additional cable is required when installing this car radio, namely the CTX-3401This connector is required to ensure compatibility with the car's original functions. The MIB connector ensures that the new car radio can communicate correctly with the modern systems of these vehicles, including steering wheel controls and other integrated features. So, when purchasing, check whether your car falls into this category and make sure you have the correct cable for a smooth installation.
