Free navigation and updates
With the Cartronix CTX-118559, driving to your destination is incredibly easy. If you choose online navigation, you can choose from apps like Google Maps. However, if you browse the Google Play Store, you'll find many more online navigation options. One example is Waze. These apps allow you to navigate offline and update the maps free of charge.

This radio comes standard with an offline navigation program that allows you to navigate at no additional cost thanks to the included GPS receiver. The navigation can be set in various languages, including Dutch, French, and English.

Self-installation and installation
While this unit isn't a factory-installed Porsche radio, it was specifically designed by Cartronix for Porsche 911, Cayman, and Boxster models. It's the perfect replacement for the factory-installed radio. Installing the Cartronix CTX-118559 requires technical expertise.

If your Porsche is equipped with a Harman Kardon sound system, an original subwoofer, or another fiber optic connection, you'll need the CTX-3304 fiber optic decoder. Installation isn't plug and play and requires some technical expertise. Without this decoder, your speakers won't work with the Cartronix or any other aftermarket car radio. This decoder can be ordered along with the radio itself. Nothing else is required for the radio to work flawlessly.

Original accessories and options
If your car has a dealer-supplied rearview camera, be aware that it's not a plug-and-play setup. To connect the camera, you'll need an adapter that connects the original camera to an RCA connector. If your car has a CD changer, you won't be able to use it after removing the original radio. Therefore, it's recommended that you remove the CDs from the changer before removing the radio.
