Thanks to a custom-made module, the CAN bus featured in this car radio, the car's original functions continue to work after installing the Davilon® Q-series car radio. For instance, you can operate the radio using the steering wheel controls, and the car radio automatically switches on and off when the car is turned on or off.

Fiat 500 Abarth: The radio is now also available for the Fiat 500 Abarth and the Fiat 500 by Diesel (Special edition in collaboration with the clothing brand Diesel). Blue and Me | Alternative
Many Fiat 500 vehicles feature a built-in Blue & Me system for hands-free calling in the car. By replacing the original car radio, for the DVL-87361 With a beige car radio, the Blue & Me system is discontinued. Don't panic; with the new car radio, you can still make hands-free calls, stream music, and even use Android Auto and CarPlay on the large touchscreen of the DVL-87361.

Because the onboard computer no longer recognizes the Blue & Me system when the original car radio has been removed, the car's mileage starts flashing to indicate that a module is missing.However, the odometer continues to function normally as you are used to. To resolve the flickering of the odometer, the Blue & Me module must be deactivated, for example by the dealer. If you require further information, please feel free to contact us.

Free navigation and updates
With the Davilon 8-Series car radio, driving to your destination is very simple. If you choose online navigation, you have the choice of, for example, Google Maps or Apple Maps. However, if you look in the Google Play Store, you will see that there are many more options for online navigation. An example of this is Waze. With such applications, you can navigate offline and update the maps free of charge.

CarPlay & Android Auto
This car radio features the latest CarPlay && Android Auto features. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are features that allow you to safely operate your smartphone while driving without holding it. In this case, your phone is controlled via the screen of the Davilon 8 Series car radio.

Original accessories and options
If your car has a reversing camera originally supplied by the dealer, please note that it cannot be connected plug-and-play. To connect the camera, you will need an adapter that connects the original camera to an RCA connector. If your car has a CD changer, you will no longer be able to use it after removing the original radio. It is therefore advisable to remove the CDs from the changer before removing the radio.
