Thanks to a custom-made module, the Canbus, which this car radio features, the car's original functions will continue to function after installing the Davilon® Q-series radio. This allows you to operate the radio with the steering wheel controls, and the radio automatically switches on and off when the car is turned on and off.

Fiat 500 Abarth: The radio is now also available for the Fiat 500 Abarth and the Fiat 500 by Diesel (Special Edition in collaboration with the Diesel clothing brand). Blue and Me | Alternative
Many Fiat 500 vehicles have a built-in Blue and Me system for hands-free calling in the car. By replacing the original car radio, for the DVL-87361 Beige car radio, the Blue and Me system is no longer available. Don't panic, with the new car radio you can still make hands-free calls, stream music, and even use Android Auto and CarPlay on the large touchscreen of the DVL-87361.

Because the on-board computer no longer recognizes the Blue and Me system when the original car radio is removed, the car's odometer reading will flash to indicate that a module is missing.The odometer will continue to function as usual. To resolve the flashing odometer, the Blue and Me module must be disabled, for example, by your dealer. If you need more information, please feel free to contact us.

Free navigation and updates
With the Davilon 8 Series car radio, driving to your destination is incredibly easy. If you opt for online navigation, you can choose from apps like Google Maps or Apple Maps. However, if you browse the Google Play Store, you'll find many more online navigation options. One example is Waze. These apps allow you to navigate offline and update the maps free of charge.

CarPlay &Android Auto
This car radio has the latest CarPlay &Android Auto features. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are features that allow you to safely operate your smartphone while driving without having to hold it. In this case, you control your phone via the screen of the Davilon 8 Series car radio.

When you connect your phone to the Davilon car radio via USB, you can get directions, make phone calls, and listen to music, among other things. You can even record WhatsApp messages that are sent as text. CarPlay also lets you control radio apps that have better reception than DAB+—how cool is that?

Original accessories and options
If your car has a dealer-supplied rearview camera, be aware that it's not a plug-and-play setup. To connect the camera, you'll need an adapter that connects the original camera to an RCA connector. If your car has a CD changer, you won't be able to use it after removing the original radio. Therefore, it's recommended that you remove the CDs from the changer before removing the radio.
