The CARLINKIT TBOX-MINI Android 11 CarPlay Box is compatible with almost all vehicles with the original CarPlay and/or Android Auto functionality. This is required to use the CARLINKIT TBOX-MINI. The CarPlay box is connected via the USB port. Whether you have a USB-C or standard USB port, both cables are included.

It's also important that the screen used by the CarPlay Ai Box has a touchscreen. This is the only way to maximize the effectiveness of the CarPlay wireless box.

Many car models from 2016 and later come standard with wired options for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This means that the CARLINKIT TBOX-MINI is compatible with cars manufactured from 2016 onwards in 99% of cases. In some cases, namely Kia and Hyundai vehicles, CarPlay from 2015 onwards may already be available. You can always ask your car dealer if your car comes/was equipped with CarPlay or Android Auto.

Note: If your car doesn't have CarPlay functionality, this article doesn't apply to your vehicle. If your original display doesn't have a touchscreen option, you can use the CARLINKIT TBOX-MINI, but you won't get the most out of it.
